Boring...

Long time didn't visit my blog already, wondering how it has been.
My friends around me keep asking me why I didn't update my blog anymore. The truth is, I didn't really get much ideas these days to write a post about.

UTP life is as usual, internet sucks, now even the water supply sucks...
Classes at 8am everyday, hectic life, with assignments and reports and all...
Spent my 21st Valentine's day alone yesterday, not so bad really, but then still hope that I won't repeat it for the 22nd time next year... >_<
Blah blah blah... really don't know what to write now... maybe sometime later I will post about my EDX history, when I got the time...
So that's from me for now.. toodles~~

Holiday...

Year-end holiday is here, and I'm feeling kinda lazy to do anything except enjoy my life. Initially planned to update my blog after my finals, then grew lazy and no mood wanna check my blogspot at all. Mmm... maybe a few more days later when I got the mood... ^^

My mid-semester break

Time flew passed so quickly and now my mid-term break is almost over.
Looking back at these 10-days holiday, 4 days in church camp and 6 days in UTP seems to pass so swiftly, and I realized that spending the Raya break here is not such a bad idea after all.

Talking about this year's COP church camp, let me share a bit about our 4 days spent on Cameron Highland.
The venue of the camp is at Chee Foo Methodist Centre, a place which looks kinda like a holiday resort.
As I've been there for another camp before, I struggled a little before finally making up my mind to join this time's camp. (different group of people mah..)

On 27/09, we went up to our destination in a group of 50++ people.
Initially I planned a lot of things before the camp, like a private joke session, starting a choir practice, but none of them was carried out, because we had a lot of activities throughout the camp, such as team basketball, IQ session, playing football and etc.
Some was quite lame, others were fun but tiring, especially the football part.
A few of us actually started playing in a heavy rain half-naked, then at the end we couldn't stand the coldness anymore and decided to put on our already wet clothes.
It's still damn funny when I thought of that time when we were shivering in rain while playing football, with the cold wind blowing. [>_<]

Besides that, the one thing I remembered did most throughout the camp is my group flag.
As a tradition, every group has to make a flag and present it on the last day of the camp. As 'genius' as I am, I proposed to design and make the flag on my own.
My group mates agreed with my design, and I proceed on doing the flag with the help of Teik Hui, a great guy I get to know in the camp.

I spent almost every break time doing my flag, dedicated to make the best of all, but little did I realized that it had pulled me away from enjoying the camp, and I became very short-tempered.

In the end, I made a pretty nice flag (I think so..), but we lose the competition.
It was a fair fight, and the winner's flag is good, but I still felt depressed over the loss and was in extremely low mood when we left Chee Foo and shop around Cameron.
Now when I think back, I would say that it's a lesson from God, to teach me not to be so egoistic, but to be humble before Him.

On the way down from Cameron going back to UTP, I experienced something very unforgettable: car-sick.
We went to the local market before we left for UTP, and I bought some flowers to give to the members of the camp.
As I proceed to cut off the thorns of the roses I bought and the bus started to move downhill, I started to feel all dizzy and weak.
That 3-hours ride is the worst moment in my life, even worse than the times on plane.
I actually vomited on the bus at the end of the second hour, and it was only a few seconds after I got hold of a plastic bag.
Man... I haven't had that since I went to Sabah with my family during primary or early secondary age. (can't remember...)
I arrived in UTP a terribly sick man, and still feeling dizzy after one night's sleep.
Guess it will be a long time before I ever go to Cameron again...

The few days in UTP after the camp were fine.
I actually got addicted with Facebook, spending most of my time checking and updating it. =P
For these few days, I borrowed one of my friend's car, and go out for meals almost everyday with my church members.
I enjoyed eating and fellowship with my church friends, especially the dinner at Kg. Bali.
As I've never been there before, my senior proposed that we go there for dinner, just to let me have a taste of it.
Last night, the 15 of us in 3 cars, went to Kg. Bali for the dinner of my lifetime.
I actually got so nervous and excited before I went there, and even I myself cannot figure out why.
We reached there around 8pm, and I was quite disappointed that it was not the kind of restaurant I had imagined it will be.
Nevertheless, we had a great time there, and this is my first time to have eaten dinner with so many people at one table.

It was the greatest dinner I ever had throughout my life in UTP, and I felt like a new man after I came back from dinner last night.
Just a simple dinner, but the joy it brought me was so indescribable.
It's not because the place is nice, nor because the food is good, but because of the people who ate together with me.
This feeling that somehow I'm still belonged somewhere, it's wonderful.
God has indeed blessed me with something precious after the camp.
Even though I didn't achieved my initial wish to revive my faith, but I get to form a lot of great friendships.
No words can describe how grateful I am to Lord, and to all those beautiful people. I can only say thank you, thank you all so much...

Oh boy, here I'm getting all emotional again..
My computer had jammed once again and now it's really getting on my nerves.
As much as I wish that the holiday won't end so quickly, tomorrow is the last day of our break, and classes will start on Wednesday. (I don't want to study so soon.. huhu... T_T)
Well, I guess that's all from me today. Oh, by the way, the camp photos are already out.
There are a lot of photos, so I put them all in my second post, scroll down and u will see it.
It took my 9 hours to complete, so don't make my effort wasted.
Till then, God bless ~ (^_^)
